Twelve caricatures, mocking politicians and personalities who supported Alfred Dreyfus (Émile Zola, Bernard Lazar, Jean Jaures, George Picard and others). Each caricature is accompanied by a rhyming caption in French.
Leaves of this kind - illustrated leaves divided into squares, in the format of comic pages - were common in France in the 19th century and were called "Image Populaire".
45X63 cm. Fair-good condition. Folding marks and creases. Tears to margins and folding lines. Dark stain along the upper margin. A 15X55 cm piece of paper is pasted on the back.
