Decorated Sign - "Zichron Machazit Hashekel" - Germany-Czechoslovakia, 18th/19th Century

Decorated sign, "Zichron Machazit Hashekel". [Germany-Czechoslovakia (Bohemia-Moravia), most probably second half of the 18th century].
Ink on cut cardboard.
A sign meant, most probably, to be hung above a Zedaka Box during the month of Adar, when it is customary to give charity in memory of "Machazit Hashekel" (half a shekel). The inscription "Zichron Machazit Hashekel" appears in impressive Gothic Ashkenazi characters surrounded by decorations of flowers and a frame decorated with triangles and dots. Margins are cut in a wavy pattern.
Length: 15 cm, width: 24 cm, fair condition. Significant wear. Vertical folding mark. Tears at margins (some are open tears), stains and creases.
