Hanging Memorial Lamp - Libya
Hanging memorial lamp. [Libya (or the vicinity), first decades of the 20th century].
Cut, engraved and punched silver; cast silver.
Made of a silver ring intended for the lighting glass, engraved with the Hebrew inscription "In memory of the wise and learned Eliyahu Luzon…". Soldered onto the central ring are four hangers to which four long chains are attached. At the end of the chains is a dome-shaped hanger.
Length: 40 cm, diameter of central ring: 11 cm. Good condition. Slight defects.
