Charity Box Made of Olive Wood - Palestine

Charity box made of olive wood. [Palestine, late 19th or early 20th century].
Carved and etched olive wood.
Barrel-shaped box, decorated with reliefs of Rachel's Tomb, the Western Wall and the Cave of Machpelah. Inscription in black ink (late addition or restoration): "G-d will hear us, Rabbi Meir Ba'al HaNes", and the names of the aforementioned sites. Surmounted by a removable lid with a slit for inserting coins in its middle.
Length: 14 cm, maximal diameter: 10 cm. Fair-good condition. Fractures, some reinforced with glue. The lid may not be original.
