Ketubah - Yazd, 1832 - Signatures of Yazd Rabbis

Ketubah recording the marriage of the groom, Yahuda ben Eliezer HaCohen, and the bride, Miriam bat Yitzhak Cohen. Yazd, Persia, Adar Bet, 5592 [1832].
Handwritten on blue paper. The blessings at the top are arranged in a triangle shape.
At the bottom is an addition written in Judeo-Persian in semi-cursive script, and the witnesses' signatures (including the signature of Rabbi Yitzhak son of Rabbi Moshe Or Shraga, one of the outstanding Torah scholars of Yazd).
On the reverse of the ketubah is a contract detailing the couple's property, from 1872, in the handwriting, signature and stamp of Rabbi Yosef Or Shraga (the rabbi of Yazd, a descendant of Rabbi Mullah Or Shraga), in Judeo-Persian.
29.5X43 cm. Fair-poor condition. Many tears (some restored with paper pastings), with damage to text and missing pieces. Stains (some dark), folding marks and wear.
