Seder plate (Siniyya di Pisah - "The Passover Tray"). Morocco, [ca. 1930s].
Repoussé, engraved and embossed brass.
Four rings of decorations and text: in the central ring is the inscription "Maror" inside decorations in vegetal motifs; surrounding it are the other simanim; a ring decorated with tendrils and flowers; external ring with the inscription "Mo'adim LeSimcha, Chagim U'Zmanim Le'Sasson, Next Year in Jerusalem, Bnei Chorin". Suspension loop.
Diameter: 58.5 cm. Good condition. Slight corrosion. Some bends.
