Manuscript - Tola'at Ya'akov, With Many Glosses - Yemen, 1737

Manuscript, Tola'at Ya'akov, on kabbalistic matters and the secrets of the Jewish festivals, by R. Meir son of Gabai. Gohaz (Yemen), Tamuz [1737].
Handsome writing in two columns. Lacking beginning of book. Many glosses with commentaries and additions [by writers of various times]. On the last page, the books ends in rhyme with a colophon of the scribe R. Nachum son of Shalom Tzabari from the city of Gohaz "on the spring of water". He also blesses his brother, R. David son of Shalom who assisted him in writing the book.
[120] leaves. 22 cm. Fair condition. Wear and tears. Stains. Unbound.
The village of Gohaz, in which the book was written, is located south-west of Sana'a.
