Two Hanging Plates - "Bezalel"

Two plates for hanging, created at "Bezalel". Jerusalem, [1912 to 1929].
1. Hammered, punched and silver-plated brass. Marked in Hebrew: "Bezalel Yerushalem" (on outer ring). At the center of the plate is a medallion-shaped relief depicting the Biblical scene of the spies (after a drawing by Ze'ev Raban). On the outer ring are decorations with grain motifs and six medallions in the shape of ancient coins. Suspension loop. Diameter: 22 cm. Good condition. Slight defects.
2. Cast brass; copper. Marked in Hebrew: "Bezalel". Small plate, in the middle of which is a medallion-shaped, gilt relief showing the meeting of Jacob and Rachel. At the bottom of the medallion is a Hebrew inscription reading: "Jacob and Rachel". With room for a suspension loop (loop missing). Diameter: 14 cm. Good condition. Slight defects.
