Etzel - Newspapers and Broadsides, 1944-1948

35 newspapers and broadsides on behalf of Etzel (Irgun). Palestine, 1944-1948. Hebrew, English and French.
· 13 broadsides and leaflets, among them: broadside issued by "Etzel Court" announcing the execution of British Sergeants Clifford Martin and Mervyn Paice, and telling briefly the reasons for conviction; additional broadside, listing in detail the national and historic meaning of the deed, several weeks after the execution; a broadside calling the Arab population not to be tempted by the British persuasion efforts to join the undergrounds in their struggle, and to cease immediately all violence against Jewish population; obituaries in memory of organization's member "Aharon"; broadsides in English and French telling the organization's version regarding the bombing of King David Hotel, and more.
· 22 issues of "Herut". Including: an issue from the "Saison" months with the headline "No hope for Informers"; issue 65, with "letter by Dr. Weizmann to the terrorists", expressing his ambivalent attitude towards the underground, and more.
Size and condition vary. Overall good condition. Folding marks. Some stains and creases. Some newspapers are restored with adhesive tape. Two issues of "Herut" appear twice.
