Collection of Printed Challah Covers
Six printed Challah covers, with prints of the Western Wall, Holy Places, a Menorah and blessings for Sabbath and holidays. Two covers have an embroidered ribbon margin.
1. Haim Kelter Printing Press, [Warsaw, late 19th century].
2. Lunz Printing Press, Jerusalem, [late 19th or early 20th century].
3. Zuckermann Printing Press, Jerusalm, [early 20th century].
4-6. Mendel Friedman and Partners Bookstore, Jerusalem, [ca. 1930s].
Size and condition vary. Between 44X50 cm and 60X63 cm. Fair-poor condition. Wear. Tears and stains.
