20 handwritten documents, concerning legal matters, money lending, and more. Alsace (Balbronn, Marlenheim, Westhoffen, and some other places?), late 18th / early 19th century.
Collection of legal documents, some with Notary seals, signatures of witnesses and interpreters, concerning legal matters: lending money, inheritance, real estate, and more. Jewish names are mentioned in the documents: Levy, Neiman, and some others, who even signed the documents. On three of the documents appear comments in Hebrew. The documents were not thoroughly examined.
Lot of 20 documents, some consisting of several leaves. Size varies, average size: 25 cm. Condition varies, some in good condition and others in fair-poor condition, with tears, stains and worming.
