Rabbi Yisrael Abba Zitron [Katroni], (1881-1927, Otzar HaRabbanim 120102). Son-in-law of the Rogatchover Ga'on, Rabbi Yosef Rosen. Born in Kreizberg. First Rabbi of Petach Tikvah. He managed the Petach Tikva Sefer HaAchuza, recording all the property of the settlement and was proud that it was conducted according to the laws of the Shulchan Aruch Choshen Mishpat. Ronald Storrs, Military Governor of Jerusalem, an excellent chess player, challenged Rabbi Zitron to a game of chess and lost that famous game. 9 letters and 2 photos, varied size and condition.
