Two Letter by the Sons of the Kli Chemda – Poland, 1935

Two letters sent by Rabbi Chanoch Henich Plotzky and by Rabbi Yisrael Natan Plotzky, to Rabbi Ya'akov Moshe Charlap in Jerusalem: · Long letter (2 large leaves) handwritten and signed by Rabbi Chanoch Plotzky, concerning Aliya to Eretz Israel, and regarding printing the writings of his father, the Torah scholar of Warta (Dvart) author of Kli Chemda. Otwock, Adar 1935. At the end of the letter, he requests that the rabbi pray for him by name "Chanoch Henich son of Tzirel". · Letter (4 pages) handwritten and signed by Rabbi "Yisrael Natan son of Tzirel – son of the late R' M.D. Plotzky", recommendation for a Torah scholar who immigrated to Eretz Israel and Torah comments. [Ostrov, c. 1935]. In 1938, Rabbi Yisrael Natan Plotzky, rabbi in Ostrov and his brother Rabbi Chanoch Henich Plotzky of Otwock published the book Sefer Milu’im on the book Kli Chemda authored by their father, Rabbi Meir Dan Plotzky of Warta. These letters are a continuation of the close relationship which existed between their father and Rabbi Avraham Yitzchak HaCohen Kook (mentioned in the letters) and with his disciple the Kabbalist Rabbi Ya’akov Moshe Charlap, head of the Merkaz HaRav Yeshiva and Rabbi of the Sha’arei Chessed neighborhood. 2 letters, varying size.
