Three leaves from Hartmann Schedel’s book Weltchronik (Nuremberg Chronicle). [Nuremberg, 1493]. Latin. Uncolored. With woodcuts depicting the Temple.
· Single leaf (Folio no. LXV). Recto: illustration of Davidic Kings and Roman Kings dynasties, and an illustration of the destruction of Babylon (woodcut: ca. 17X10 cm). Verso: illustration of the priests’ dynasty and other illustrations. On upper right corner – illustration of Solomon’s Temple (Second Temple).
· Two leaves (Folio LXVI – LXVII) with woodcuts depicting the Third Temple (two on a full page) – plans of the Temple interior and illustration of the building.
