Thirty-two photos portraying the "Fair for the Promotion of Goods Made in Israel" and early stages of the "Levant Fair". Tel-Aviv, [ca. 1924-1934].
Most photos were taken during the fairs which preceded the "Levant Fair" and took place during the 1920s by "Trade and Industry" company; among them photos of the "Exhibition and Fair for Goods Made in Israel" held in April 1924 in the school for boys on Ahad HaAm street; photo of the plot allocated to the fair organizers by the city of Tel-Aviv, where the permanent booths of the "Levant Fair" were constructed; stands of the vine growers association, Rishon LeZion and Zichron Ya'akov wineries, "HaSoreg" company, a structure in the shape of the city of Tel-Aviv emblem (Lighthouse); structures of machinery and casting plants; stands of "Shemen" company and "Bezalel" museum, group photos of the fair organizers and more. Two photos were taken by Avraham Soskin. Size varies, average size 11.5X17 cm. Good condition.
