Story of a Jew who fled the extermination camp of Treblinka near Malkinia. Published by the secretariat of the Kibbutz Meuchad, "Ha-Chalutz" committee, October 4, 1943.
Story of D.M. of Lodz, as reported on August 30 1943, who succeeded to run away from Treblinka extermination camp with two other boys, after hiding under a pile of garments during the night. In his story he describes in detail life in the ghetto, arrival in the camp. The selection, the labor, and evidence of a shooting-pit near the camp.
The story is preceded by the note "we have to be cautious and this is why we cannot publish the end of his story " and "the horrors have to be told before the general assembly".
[6] leaves printed on a type writer and stenciled, 33 cm. Good condition. Slight tears to upper edges.
