Rehavia Moussaieff was the firstborn son (of 12 children) and the heir of Shlomo Moussaieff, who came to Eretz Israel from Bukhara in 1890 and was one of the founders of the Bukhari neighborhood in Jerusalem. Rehavia Moussaief owned an empire of jewelry and pearls and travelled abroad quite often. Among the documents: a notebook "Antiques and real estate and objects", letters from family members related to business from all over the world, a contract in Arabic from the Turkish period, commercial documents concerning jewelry, permits for entry and departure from Palestine and personal documents.
