Outline of Antonio del Castillo's voyage to Eretz Israel, with a detailed description of the Holy Places. Accompanied by four folded plates (etchings), including: two details maps of Jerusalem (with indications of numerous sites), drawing of the Church of the Holy Sepulcher interior and the interior of the Church of Nativity. Within the text appear numerous etchings of views and sites in Eretz Israel: Jaffa, Ramla, Jerusalem, Valley of Jehoshaphat, Tomb of Absalom, Tomb of Zechariah, Mount of Olives, Holy Sepulcher church, Rachel’s Tomb and more.
[24], 436, [4] pp + [4] folded plates (one missing plate following title page?). 19.5 cm. Good condition. Spotting. Tears on the title page and on some additional leaves, restored with paper. Some moth holes. Professionally restored tears on one of the maps. Damages caused to the binding.
