First printed composition of Rabbi Avraham Yagel (Gliko) (1553-1622, Otzar HaRabbanim 459), a Jewish Italian doctor, philosopher and Mekubal, author of the Kabalistic-philosophical-autobiographic Sefer Gai Chizayon and other books.
This composition was written following the pestilence which plagued Mantua in 1576. At the end of the work, he added Pitom HaKetoret for stemming the plague according to Kabbalah, by the Mekubal Rabbi Yehosef ebn Shraga. This is his only printed composition. Poems praising the book appear at the beginning and at the end of the book.
35 leaves, 14 cm. Fair-good condition. Spotting. Library stamps. Worm damages. Tears to last leaf. Owner's signatures and inscriptions. New binding.
