Sefer Yetzira with five commentaries, including the first printing of a commentary by Rabbi Eliyahu of Vilna (the Gra). The capital city Grodno, 1806. First edition of the Vilna Gaon's commentary. With Kabalistic sketches.
The first book of Kabbalah printed from the Torah teachings of the Vilna Gaon. Brought to print by his famous disciple Rabbi Menachem Mendel of Shklow, who later ascended to Eretz Israel and established the Ashkenazi yishuv in Jerusalem.
12, [2], 42, [30] leaves, 20 cm. Blue paper, good condition, minor worm holes. Ancient ownership inscriptions, stamp and censorship signature. Ancient worn semi-leather binding.
