"Machseh Lajesoumim" Orphanage in Leiden / Jewish Orphanage in Rotterdam / Jewish Home for the Elderly – Holland, 1920s-30s

1. Plaque, Jewish orphanage "Machseh Lajesoumim" in Leiden. Depiction of the orphanage building's front with a dedication in Dutch. June, 1929. 58X100 mm.
2. Plaque, one hundred years of the Jewish orphanage in Rotterdam. Featuring the orphanage building's front and an inscription, which reads:"Israëlitisch Weeshuis Rotterdam 1833 1933" and another inscription in Hebrew and Dutch. 60X80 mm.
3. "Vredige Levensavond" [peaceful night of life]. Medal of a Jewish home for the elderly. [Holland, 1938]. Bronze, placed on an octagonal base to be used as a paperweight. Only 100 units were made by Koningklijke Begreer in Utrecht. Decorated with wings and the letters JI (Joodse Invaliden – handicapped Jews). Images depicting the sun, Star of David and an elderly Jew, resting. "Art Deco" style. Diameter: 60 mm, base: 70 mm.
