Bronze plaque noting one hundred years of Bleichröder family banking enterprises. [Berlin], 1903.
Obverse: Figure of a woman holding a shield with the inscription "Labor Omnia Vincit" [labor conquers all], mountainous scenery, a bridge and factories. On the lower part appear names of five of the Bleichröder family members and their dates. Marked: "G. Janenscch, 1903".
Reverse: A tree on both sides of which appears a dedication in German, from the workers of S. Bleichröder Bank, on the occasion of its 100th anniversary.
S. Bleichröder Bank was founded in 1803 by the Jewish-German banker Shmuel Bleichröder, who served as the Rothschild family representative, and later turned the business into a family business.
