A brochure about the development of the embryo in its mother's womb according to the Talmudic sages. Published in honor of Lippa's seventy'th birthday. An additional title page in the booklet bears the title "Spinoza and Talmudic Sages Ideas" on the same subject.
Dr. Natan Petachya (Karpel) Lippa (1830-1915), a doctor and Jewish publicist, lived most of his life in Romania, an eminent Zionist activist in Yassi, President and the elderly member of the First Zionist Congress who held the opening speech of the congress. See item 612 in this catalogue.
