Painted Ceramic Plate – Eva Samuel, 1947 – in Honor of Architect Richard Kaufmann

Ceramic plate, painted and glazed. Eva Samuel, 1947. Marked: "Rishon LeZion" and the "Kad VaSefel" ceramic workshop (blurred stamps).
Colorful picture of construction workers on scaffolds involved in various building activities. On the upper right side: "Architect Richard Kaufmann". On the reverse appears a dedication (in German) "For Richard Kaufmann in honor of his 60th birthday, from Eva Samuel".
In 1947, in honor of Richard Kaufman's 60th birthday, an exhibition of his works was exhibited in the "Bezalel Museum" – "From Planning to Realization".
Diameter: 28 cm, poor condition, broken and fixed, with pin holes and a hook for hanging.
