Hand Bag – Palestinian Embroidery – Jerusalem
Hand bag with Palestinian embroidery. Eretz Israel, first half of 20th century. Embroidery on canvas, cotton lining, wooden handles with printing.
This bag was made as a souvenir from Jerusalem in the first half of the 20th century. The embroidery is simple and similar to the centerpiece of Palestinian dresses. Olive wood handles with the inscription: "Jerusalem", attached to the bag.
Size: 34X40.5 cm, good condition.
