Passover Seder Plate from the Estate of Rabbi Dr. Eliezer Lipman Hacohen Rebbe of Wiesbaden

Passover Seder plate. Germany, late 19th century. (Early engraving on the reverse:"1809").
Engraved silver.
Borders are ornamented with a finely engraved geometric pattern. The surface of the plate is decorated with verses of the Haggadah, in a circular manner. "Ma Nishtana…Avadim Hayinu…Kadesh U-Rechatz…".
The owner testifies that the origin of this plate is the estate of Rabbi Dr. Eliezer Lipman (Leo) Hacohen Kahn (1843-1936), senior German Rabbi, of the last generation of outstanding Jewish congregations; taught three generations of disciples, a central figure of orthodox Jewry and the first to have gotten permission from the government to found a separate orthodox congregation in Wiesbaden where he served as rabbi for sixty six years (for additional information, see attached material).
