Six Bags for Tallit and Tefillin
Six fabric bags for Tallit and Tefillin. Various countries, first half of 20th century. Embroidered fabric and velvet.
Fabric bags from different coutries, amongst them: a Tefillin pouch with a simple stitch embroidery in the shape of a deer – maybe for a person with that name, on the reverse – a vegetal pattern; an additional Tefillin bag embroidered "Mazkeret Yerushalem" "A" "S" and "Tefillin"; fabric bag for Tefillin with the initials "B.B." within a Star of David; Talit bag and a matching bag for Tefillin made of blue velvet embroidered in gold and white thread, "Yerushalem" and a Star of David.
Size and condition varies, overall good condition. Within some bags there are a Talit and Tefillin.
