Even HaEzer Ra'avan – Prague, 1610 – First Edition – Glosses by Rabbi David Ya'akov Biderman Author of Hagahot Maharid

Even HaEzer – Ra'avan, rulings according to the order of the Tractates of the Talmud, by Rabbi Eliezer ben Natan. Prague, 1610. First edition.
Hundreds of glosses in Ashkenazi handwriting; most are references and corrections of versions with some short scholarly notes. In one note, the writer mentions his family background: "What my grandfather wrote in the book Maginei Shlomo". On the last leaf is a faded inscription "R' David Ya'akov Biderman". Apparently, the glosses are in the handwriting of Rabbi Ya'akov David Biderman (1806-1863, Encyclopedia L'Chasidut Vol. 2 p. 260). Disciple of Rabbi Shlomo Leib of Łęczna and the Kotzk Rebbe. Rabbi in Mezhyrich , Kozienice and Wyszogród , descendent of the author of Pnei Yehoshua responsa and Maginei Shlomo. Wrote several books, renowned for his work Hagahot Maharid on Torat Cohanim (Sifra) with the commentary of the Rash Mi'Shantz. He prepared the latter commentary for print from a manuscript he owned to which he added his own glosses and notes.
