Olive Wood Box Decorated with a Star of David – Eretz Israel, The 19th century

Olive wood box, for storing sewing supplies. Eretz Israel, end of the 19th century.
Olive wood, wood inlay, printing.
Decorations made with miniature wood inlay: Two frames and a big Star of David situated in the center of the lid. "Jerusalem" is printed in Hebrew and English. Inside the box are small compartments for storing sewing supplies and a velvet pillow. The top tray is removable and has an additional storing compartment under it. There is no photo under the glass frame inside the lid.
Length: 21 cm, width: 28.5 cm, height: 12. 5 cm. A cloth is glued on the bottom part.
