Carpet - "Temple Site" – "Marvadya"

Wool carpet – "Temple site". Probably made by the "Marvadya" carpet workshop, supervised by Ya'akov Kantorowitz, [first half of the 1920's].
Wool threads tied on cotton warp.
An inscription in Hebrew: "Temple site". At Each corner the word "Zion" appears twice. On the edges: a dedication inscription in Hebrew "To Leah and Mordechai, a souvenir for your wedding day, from Rachel".
Length: 24.5 cm, width: 34.5 cm. Fringes on the edges. Some damage; a small piece is missing on the left bottom corner.
