Four Medals with a Portrait of Moses Montefiore

1-2. Two medals. London, ca. 1900.
Obverse: Portrait of Moses Montefiore. On the margins an inscription in Hebrew: "Sir Moshe Montefiore…". Reverse: Emblem of the Montefiore family and the inscription: "Sir Moses Montefiore Oberscherif von Kent & London". One medal is made of silver (diameter 37 mm); the other medal is silver plated, with a hook (35 mm.).
3. Obverse: Portrait of Moses Montefiore and an inscription "the generous minister Moses Montefiore…". Reverse: Portrait of Baron Rothschild. Above his head appears a Star of David. Inscription surrounds the illustration: "The generous minister Baron Edmond Rothschild…" Diameter: 30 mm. Hook for hanging and ribbon.
4. Medal with Montefiore's portrait and inscription in Dutch: "Weldadigheidsvereeniging Montefiore" [charity society, Montefiore]. Diameter: 30 mm. Hook.
