Obverse: relief of Judith and Moses Montefiore's portraits surrounded by the inscription "Lady Judith Montefiore. Sir Moses Montefiore. Bart. F.R.S." Signed: "Wiener 1864" [Charles Wiener].
Reverse: Inscription and a wreath of branches and flowers and a ribbon; on the ribbon appears the inscription "Jerusalem / Damascus / Russia / Rome / Morocco" listing Montefiore's charity projects for Jews worldwide during the 19th cent.
