Ivory Torah Pointer – Europe
Torah pointer made of ivory, Europe, [late 19th or early 20th cent.].
A hole for a chain at the upper tip. Smooth handle with carved bumps along it. A shirt's lapel is carved at the tip of the handle under which is a clenched palm with a pointing finger. The palm is carved in great detail, including the finger nails.
Length: 29.5 cm. Good condition, existing chain, stain between the hand and the shirt's lapel.
