An Embroidered Set - Tallit Bag and Ethrog Container
Set of tallit bag and Ethrog container with two large embroidered cloths. Central Europe,1911.
Velvet and colorful embroidery.
1-2. Tallit bag -bears the name of the owner, around it floral embroidery in green, red, and white. On the reverse side, floral motif embroidery. Height: 29.5cm, width: 38 cm, embroidery unraveled at some areas.
Ethrog container in hexagonal shape – cardboard covered with velvet with floral motif embroidery. Height – 11cm, width – 19cm, embroidery partially unraveled.
3. Embroidered velvet with floral motifs. Height: 37cm, width: 54cm.
4. Embroidered velvet (framed) - floral embroidery, with birds. A Torah crown in the center.
Height: 57 cm, width: 67.5 cm.
