Esther Scroll – Flower Serifs
Esther scroll, scrolled on a carved wooden handle. Sephardic Vellish script, 20th century.
Wooden handle, ink on parchment.
The scroll is written on brownish parchment in fine script with serifs in floral designs on top of several letters. An architectural decoration and holes to the wood handle.
Height of parchment: 15.5 cm. Small breakage to wood decoration. Several scribbles in ink on the upper part of the handle. The first sheet (with no text) is torn, stain.
