Title page and following leaf contain ownership notations and fine calligraphic signatures of Rabbi Shlomo Even Tzur and his son Rabbi Raphael Even Tzur.
Even Tzur family was among most distinguished rabbinical families of Morocco. Rabbi Ya’akov Even Tzur – the Yavetz, among leading Torah scholars of Morocco, whose sons served in rabbinate of city of Fes. This copy includes signature of most recent Rabbi Raphael Even Tzur who served as Av Beit Din of Fes (1830-1917). Second signature of Rabbi Shlomo Even Tzur is apparently by father of Rabbi Raphael (see: Malchei Rabanan, leaf 105, 2).
