Plate – “The Spies” - Damascus Work
Plate for hanging on the wall, “Bezalel”, Jerusalem, [between 1909-1929]. Copper and silver inlaid into brass (Damascus work). Signed: “Bezalel, Jerusalem” on reverse. At the center of the plate the spies are shown carrying a cluster of grapes. Frame and margins are decorated with plants. Diameter:22 cm. Peg for hanging (damaged)
