Spice Tower – Russia, 1878
Spice tower, Russia,1878. Silver (stamped, stamps of manufacturer and year), Cast and cut. Tower turret with windows and bell in the center. Ball and flag at top of turret. Three bells hang from the corners of the bottom part (fourth bell missing). Ornamented with miniature castings in the figure of lions and eagles (four of each). Small window opens and is secured by clasp. Height: 26 cm.
