Torah Scroll mantle, Morocco, [End of 19th century, or beginning of 20th century]. Velvet, gold thread embroidery. Embroidered decorations of plants and geometrical designs, on purple velvet. Embroidered dedication at top of mantle: “May the virtue of the Torah protect Pinchas Ben Eliezer HaCohen”. Height: 60 cm., diameter: 30 cm., faded velvet, damage and tears.
