Embroidered man's Kippah, Kurdistan or Persia, [early 20th cent.]. Fabric; embroidery. Embroidery of flowers and geometric patterns in orange, blue, pink and purple threads. A Hebrew text appears in the center (partly unraveled; text not deciphered); next to the borders appears an embroidered text in Arabic (partly unraveled). Height: approx.8-9 cm, width: approx. 15 cm. Stains. Unraveled embroidery.
