Documents from the Archives of Arthur Loewy – Bank Manager murdered in Auschwitz / Synagogue of Liegnitz

Documents from the archives of Arthur (Abraham) Loewy who served as a bank manager in Liegnitz (south west Poland) and murdered in Auschwitz in 1944. [Germany, 1930’s].
Arthur (Abraham) Loewy, born in Königshütte in 1897, was married to Henrietta (nee Herlitz). Before World War 2 lived in Liegnitz and worked there as a bank manager. During the war stayed in Nice (France) and was murdered in Auschwitz in 1944 (information from central data bank of Holocaust victims, Yad VaShem).
Among the documents here are mainly various bank forms and banking documents, some from the Dresdner Bank and some from the Deutscher Bank. Some documents were sent to Arthur Loewy by various people, including forms and documents that were sent by the management of the Liegnitz Synagogue (which was burnt in Kristallnacht and completely destroyed). Total of about 160 documents. Sizes and conditions vary.
