Letter Signed by Torah Leaders – Regarding a Protest Against a Pool with Mixed Swimming, Jerusalem 1958

Letter concerning a massive protest, against building a "swimming pool with mixed swimming" in Jerusalem the Holy City, signed by the heads of the "Mo'etzet Gedolei HaTorah" in Jerusalem: Rabbi "Zvi Pesach Frank" Rabbi of Jerusalem, Rabbi "Dov Berish Weidenfeld" the Tshebin Rebbe, Rabbi "Eliezer Yehuda Finkel" Head of Mir Yeshiva, Rabbi "Zalman Sorotzkin" the Rabbi of Lutsk and Rabbi "Akiva Sofer" the Rabbi from Pressburg. Jerusalem, Sivan 5718 (1958).
The letter is typewritten on an aerogram for abroad, prepared by the "Central Committee for Jerusalem's Holiness", to send to rabbinic organizations abroad. In the letter, the various actions taken on this matter and the two large protests planned to take place in Jerusalem on the 7th and on the 16th of the month of Sivan are reported.
