"Midrash Tanchuma", with "Nachalat Binyamin" commentary by Rabbi Binyamin Epstein. Zhitomir, 1898. Only edition. Approbations by "Rebbe Dov Twersky of Gornostaypol", Griz (Rabbi Yosef Zecharya) Stern and the Maharil (Rabbi Yehoshua Leib) Diskin.
Ownership stamps of Rabbi "Baruch Zilberfarb Rabbi of Zhitomir" and Rabbi "David Ya'akov Zilberfarb Rabbi of Zhitomir". Stamps of Rabbi "Yosef ben Rabbi Meir Feimer of Slutsk" and dozens of glosses in his handwriting. He brings things from the "glosses of my father Rabbi Meir Feimer of Slutsk" in his writings. On Leaf 210, he writes, "and this matter was hidden from some people, see my book and uncountable hidden matters".
Rabbi Yosef Feimer (1874-1939, Otzar HaRabbanim 8500), son of Rabbi Meir Feimer and grandson of Rabbi Yosef Feimer of Slutsk [disciple of Rabbi Chaim of Volozhin]. Served as rabbi of the "baalei batim" in his native city of Slutsk (where his father and grandfather served as rabbis) for twenty years until his immigration to Brooklyn in 1925.
