Responsa Manuscript by Author of Tzemach Tzedek
Halachic responsa manuscript by Rebbe Rabbi Menachem Mendel of Lubavitch author of Tzemach Tzedek. [19th century].
Manuscript includes two lengthy Halachic responses; first printed in Tzemach Tzedek Responsa, Yoreh De’ah, chapter 314. [Form of writing is similar to that of writing of Tzemach Tzedek, however, it is apparently the writing of an early copyist, who copied from the original response]. Second response [in different handwriting], consisting of a lengthy response (26 pages and missing at end) pertains to blood found in milk. This response was not found in the printed book, however in Tzemach Tzedek Responsa Yoreh De’ah chapter 54, a section of a brief response pertaining to this matter was found.
54 written pages. (Page numbering 199-225, section of “Bichel” booklet). Approx. 23 cm. Good-fair condition, stains and foxing. Unoriginal binding.
