Sefer Imrei Shefer, Sermons. Rabbi Naftali Ashkenazi. Venice, [1601].
The author, among scholars of Eretz Israel and Kabbalists of Safed, disciple and relative of the Ari who is mentioned in Sefer HaChizyonot [book of visions] by Rabbi Chaim Vital. Departed from Safed and emigrated to Venice in 1601, where he printed his book and was associated with scholars of the Yeshiva of the city until his demise. The book contains sermons which he delivered on various occasions and eulogies on Torah giants of his generation, including Rabbi Eliezer Azikri author of Sefer Charedim. In the book he presents sayings in the name of the Ari.
