Two "Megillot Esther" on Parchment
* "Megillat Esther", Ashkenasic Ari writing (Chassidic), especially fine writing, characteristic to the Russian-Polish area, [end of 19th century?].
Height of parchment approximately 11 cm. 11 rows, good-fair condition, the ink on some pages is faded and on others black. A megillah of 11 rows from such an early time and in Chassidic writing is rare. (See Kedem Catalogue Auction 22, Item 5).
* "Megillat Esther", with "HaMelech", Vellish writing (ancient Spanish), [beginning of 20th century].
Height of parchment approximately 13 cm. 14 rows, fair condition, wear stains and tears. The ink is faded on most pages. Erased dedication on parchment tie.
