Copper Plate – Synagogue – "Bezalel"
Reading of the Torah in the Synagogue, copper plate, produced by "Bezalel". Jerusalem, [1920s, or somewhat earlier].
Hammered copper; wooden frame. Stamped on plate edges: "Bezalel Yerushalem".
On the back of the frame, remnants of a paper label with the "Bezalel" emblem (see "Kedem" catalogue no. 24, Item 252).
