Nine illustrated ceramic tiles portraying the story of the binding of Isaac ("Akeidat Yitzchak"). Holland [mid 18th century].
Illustrated ceramic tiles; wooden board.
The tiles joined together portray an illustration of Abraham preparing to bind Isaac on the altar with an angel above him.
The tiles are glued on a wooden board 39X39 cm. (each tile is 13X13 cm). Good-fair condition. Minor breaks to edges of most of the tiles. Scratches. Two tiles have damages with paint repairs.
