Manuscript, Sefer Birkat Avraham, on laws of food ritually unfit for eating, by Rabbi Avraham Yehuda Duchovny. Ramat Gan, [1930s].
Large manuscript upon which the composition of Rabbi Duchovny (1860-1955), Sefer Birkat Avraham (Jerusalem 1950) was based. In the introduction, which was not printed in its entirety, the author notes details about his life, and ascribes the writing of this book to the fact that he was childless. As well, he relays a dispute led by him which took place in Ramat Gan.
Approx. 400 pages. 27 cm. Good condition, stains, tears on several pages.
