Title page of book contains glosses on Shulchan Aruch, noting: Berdichev 1800. However, this is a forgery inasmuch as “in 1800 there was not yet a printing press in Berdichev, and in the book itself, chapter 461, it is stated ‘last year 1823’… the book was therefore printed after 1824, when a printing press in Berdichev was no longer in existence; it appears that it was printed in Sudilkov” (A. Ya’ari, Hebrew Press of Berdichev, Kiryat Sefer, 21, 1944-1945, p. 103).
